At the age of 21, we’re all just trying to find our feet. Out in the world, standing on our own two feet, finishing college or doing the Monday to Friday rat race. For Brendan, by the time he hit 21, he had already travelled the world, doing what he does best, music.
In this episode, Brendan is an open book. There’s no question he shied from and didn’t answer. He brings us through the highs and lows of being in a boyband managed by one of the biggest record labels in the world, representing your country in front of over 100 million people and being on the worlds biggest talent show, mentored by Louis Tomlinson of One Direction. Not bad for a young lad from Tuam.
Brendan’s honesty about his career is refreshing. His ability to look back and see why things went well and to also see why some things didn’t work out as well as they could is an ability that a lot of people in his industry don’t possess. Being picked up by the industry is a dream, but when they drop you, it can be from any height.
By watching and listening, we’re sure you’ll come away with the same impression of Brendan that anyone who meets him and gets to know him does. A genuinely open and grounded individual who just happens to have an amazing ability to captivate and entertain crowds around the world.
